Like I said, I have been baking different things to see which ones get a really great reaction. Trying to find some different cookies to make for Christmas. Here are the cookies I have made recently. Tonight I get to bake my famous Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie YUMMY!!! I need to pack my stretchy pants tomorrow!!

It was only for a couple of hours. It actually was a little bit confusing toward the end. My in laws took our girls to see Santa and have dinner. Jonathan got off at 8:30. My mother in law told me they would be back around 9:30. I told J that and he was like, “We have an hour. Let’s go to OTB”, and so we did. We just got our food when I get a call (at 9:00) from my mother in law stating that they were at my door and wonderin’ where I am. I told her and she was like, “Ummm…okay.” and we had to have them meet us. We told the waitress we had an emergency and high tailed it outta there. So there ya’ go. I did get to spend time with my hubby Now he is at a meeting. I am all for whatever he needs to do for his recovery, but it doesn’t mean I can’t be sad that he isn’t here right now keepin’ me warm on a cold night I’ll survive…it’s not like this is the first time he has gone to a late meeting.

On the holiday front, I am so into baking stuff this year. FOR REAL! My hubby is enjoying my new found love. I have taken on scrapbooking and baking. Now, if I could just get that mixer I want….here’s a pic in case any of you would like to pool your money together to buy your favorite teacher/friend/mom/wife/etc. one NIGHTY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Let’s see…my three year old has totally lost it tonight. She refused to eat dinner and is now screaming because she had to go to bed. My hubby is going to be gone ALL DAY LONG tomorrow at work and then off to a meeting. I just need a break and I’m getting one. I am off a WHOLE WEEK but I’m going in on Wed. morning to clean my room because I was ready to bust out of there today.

I’m a worrier and my current worry is that J’s work is open on Thanksgiving and seeing as how he is new, he’ll have to work. Not sure yet though. We’ll see!

I feel like it is impossible to lose weight once school starts. Summer was fine…I was walking every morning, eating six tiny meals a day and I lost about 15 lbs. and have probably gained it all back. I don’t know, though, too afraid to step on that scale, but I can tell in my clothes. This stinks to high heaven!

Thanksgiving Program

Caitlyn was the cutest Indian in the program. What? She was! Anyway, they have worked for months on this program and I thought she would be REALLY nervous talking in front of all those people. NO WAY! She got up there and did her line and she smiled and it was AWESOME!!!!

Well, this is what I spent time on Saturday…or Sunday…can’t remember now…doing. I saw this idea on Etsy and thought to myself “SELF….I could make that and cuter, too”. So I’m looking for feedback. I want to make them to sell. I think. Not sure. Not very confident in my work, can you tell?

Happy Veteran’s Day

I was honored to have my grandfather, who served in the Army, at yesterday’s Veteran’s Day Assembly. I don’t know how much longer we will be on this earth together. He is 80 and you never know what tomorrow brings. I kept getting choked up yesterday because of the emotions it all brought. He got to see my classroom and Caitlyn’s. I’ll post pictures. later.

That is what this blog is titled right? Well, I am living it…the good and the bad. I’m not going to go into great detail at all about this. What I’m going through will be kept private between family and close friends. I feel like when life is going great and feels “too good to be true”, it all crumbles around me. I am taking it day by day. I awoke this morning hoping that yesterday was a dream, but it was reality. Instead of me crawling in bed wanting to stay there for a month or two, I can’t. I have to get up be a mom, a wife, and a teacher. No matter how I feel, there are people who need me. I love my husband unconditionally. I’m going to be supportive every day and finally listen to the “BIG” voice instead of the little voice. For today, I will be supportive and loving. I will pray every morning to give me the strength to do this. I will wake up every morning and tell myself that for today, I will be supportive, loving, and the best mom/wife/teacher I can be. Please keep our family in your prayers. We need them!!!
