Girls LOVE to shop…
So, let me set this up for you…the girls spent the night on Friday night and so Saturday was ours (Jonathan and I) to have to ourselves. I told him I had JoAnn’s coupons to use and they ran out that day. His reaction was this:
Apparently, while in JoAnn’s, he texted Ryan and asked to be saved from this place called JoAnn’s. Then we were off to….the Teacher Store. Jonathan entered and again was texting, this time to inform Ryan that he was now in the teacher store. Ryan’s response…Brooke is heading there….ditch the woman and come on over. So, Brooke and I went to the Teacher store, back to JoAnn’s, Michael’s, Dollar Tree, and Hobby Lobby (which is where we found our jug that I mentioned in the previous post). We returned to find out that the girls were spending another night with my parents. So, we all hit up Golden Corral. It was super good. Then we headed to Half Price books, where I found The Rainbow Fish and The Rainbow Fish to the Rescue for 98 cents a piece!!! While we were there, though, Brooke and I were on one aisle while Ryan and Jonathan were on the other. All of a sudden we heard “BBBUUURRRPP!!” and the lady standing next to Brooke and I said, “That’s disgusting”. I looked at Brooke and said, “Hmmm..I wonder which husband that was…” and the lady replied, “Well, I know it’s not mine because I’m divorced”. I felt so bad. Then we saw the boys and told them about what that lady said. Jonathan’s reply? Lifting up his leg and farting. Yes, that is my husband!
Then on Sunday, we kinda ditched service to do what? MORE SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!! We headed to Lakeshore Learning. We were greeted with a HUGE table of clearance. The lady said that they usually only get a couple of shipments a year, but they had already received three or four…AND more stuff came in while we were still there!!! My end result was this:
The crowns are not mine, but for a co-worker. The lady even showed us a secret hallway with MORE STUFF! It was truly awesome! I can’t wait to go back to school…well…I can I guess
Then it was off to US TOYS. I love this store, too, because I’m always welcomed with clearance. We began looking through the boxes to find…yes…stuff for Faith’s tea party! Each item was like 90 cents. Then I found her tea set.
We ended our shopping spree weekend, headed to Rowlett to pick up the girls and visit my grandparents, and then my parents took us out to Furr’s for some good eatin’. What can I say? I’m a country girl!
