Six Flags…Part one

As I write this, I must note that it is storming terribly outside and I am due to dinner in about half an hour give or take, so I’m going to do this post in two parts. Cool? It better be

Instead of going to South Padre, we decided that we would stay closer to home for personal reasons. We had a “staycation” by going to Six Flags and then staying at the best hotel we could find…the O’Toole’s house!!

First we had to get some drinks:

Once that was accomplished it was time to embark on my latest obsession (thank you, Brooke):

Then we entered the park and of course we are greeted with the Looney Tune characters:

Then it was off to ride our first ride. We couldn’t all go at the same time, so Ryan and Faith stayed back for the next turn while everyone else went. I decided it would be best to ride with Caitlyn, Brooke with Garrett, and that left this:

The funny part is that Jonathan had absolutely NO CLUE until the end of the day that that picture was taken!

The girls really loved it, but the Tea Cups did not get fare so well:

Project 365…take two!

So, back in February I began Project 365 where I take a picture everyday and post it. I started out on the ball, but then, I would either A. forget my camera, B. forget to take a picture one day, or C. let my batteries die and was too lazy to recharge them (this happened quite often I’m afraid). Now that I have seen what my mistakes are, I’m willing to give it another try. I actually decided to restart this project, but thought it would be a good idea to start on my birthday. So, on Thursday, August 6th (my 28th birthday) I will start Project 365 over. You will still see the old pictures, but it will suddenly jump from April to August. Don’t be alarmed.
